Through education; my own experience as a competitive athlete; recovering from multiple injuries/surgeries; and developing programs that are tailor-fitted for each individual, I understand what it takes to push yourself through a work-out – both mentally and physically. More importantly, I empathize with you. I have been in your position before, which is why I know how you are feeling when starting something new. I want to help you achieve your goals because I know how good it feels to achieve goals that have been within reach for a long time. 

Knowledgably Training Experience

With years of success and experience in an athletic environment, in 2017 I applied to the Strength and Conditioning program at Algonquin College – eventually graduating with Honors. While excelling in my college course, I knew I could help so many people with their goals and fitness journeys. I have hands-on experience training with both US and Canadian national soccer coaches. I have also trained under US university soccer coaches and their fitness professionals.

I’m not just in this for the traditional athlete; I enjoy working in this industry because I get to work with beginner athletes, seniors, students, people recovering from injury, and anyone who would like to make a positive change to their lifestyle. I understand how taking the first step, or the thought of taking fitness classes, could be intimidating. Don’t let fear scare you away from an amazing opportunity and a healthy lifestyle. I am here to accommodate your needs, and guide you to accomplish your goals.

I have worked out before for years but after having 2 kids I hadn’t worked out in a couple years and didn’t know where to start! I hired Melany to try out some personal training with her in hopes I would get some workouts to do and than continue on my own again. After doing some sessions with her – I enjoyed them so much I continued 3-4 sessions a week with her! I have NEVER seen results this fast! I told her my goals and she helped me achieve those goals with fun, fast, affordable workouts that I could do at home with the equipment I had! You could hand me a book of workouts and I wouldn’t have the motivation to do them. Having that session with Melany has me pumped up each day from the morning when I wake up so that I actually get a workout in! She is so empowering and supportive and wants to see you do well!! She’s the best!! I still eat the junk I want and live the life I want but with a rockin body only dedicating 30 mins a day with her!!
